Terms of Work

By booking a delivery with DoubleA Express, you agree to the following terms. Last updated: January 2025.

1 Booking & Orders

All delivery orders must be submitted via our online booking form, email, or confirmed by phone. Orders are only accepted once confirmed in writing or verbally by DoubleA Express. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion. Collection times are estimates; delays due to traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control are not grounds for cancellation without fee.

2 Pricing & Payment

Quoted prices are valid for 48 hours and are based on the information provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply for: waiting time beyond 15 minutes, access difficulties, inaccurate weight/dimension declarations, out-of-hours surcharges, and hazardous goods handling. Payment is due upon delivery unless a credit account has been agreed in advance.

3 Liability & Insurance

DoubleA Express carries standard goods-in-transit insurance. Our liability is limited to the declared value of the goods or a maximum of €1,000 per consignment, whichever is lower. Customers with high-value goods should arrange their own additional insurance. We are not liable for:

Damage to inadequately packaged goods
Delays caused by force majeure (weather, road closures, strikes)
Consequential losses or loss of earnings
Claims not reported within 48 hours of delivery

4 Dangerous Goods

We are approved to carry certain dangerous goods under ADR regulations. Customers must provide accurate classification, UN numbers, and required documentation before collection. Misdeclared dangerous goods shipments may result in legal action. Customers are responsible for ensuring goods are correctly classified and packaged to ADR standards. DoubleA Express reserves the right to refuse or return any consignment suspected of non-compliance.

5 Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled collection time incur no charge. Cancellations within 2 hours of collection may be subject to a call-out fee of up to €30. No-shows or cancellations after collection has commenced will be charged at the full rate.

6 Data Protection

Customer data is collected solely for the purpose of fulfilling delivery orders. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where required to complete your delivery. All data is held in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing doubleaexpressireland@gmail.com.

7 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. DoubleA Express reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
